We have the following vacancies at present.
The Guild provides a residential care home for older people with individual bed-sitting rooms which they furnish themselves. The Home is centrally heated and is equipped with two lifts; it has three sitting rooms and a communal dining room, utility rooms and a large garden. Residents are encouraged to lead as independent a life as they can during their advancing years, with a feeling of security and with the burdens of housekeeping removed.
To achieve the charitable objectives, the Guild is run by a Managing Committee, which agrees policies and plans future strategy. There is also a House Committee, which has oversight of the residents' welfare. The General Manager and her team administer the charity on behalf of the Managing Committee, who are all volunteers.
